How Much Does a Website Cost in Pakistan? What Actually Drives the Price
Website quotes in Pakistan can vary enormously. Here is what actually drives the cost of a website — and how to compare quotes fairly before you decide.

Ask five developers in Pakistan what a website costs and you may get five very different answers. That is not because some of them are lying — it is because "a website" can mean anything from a single landing page built on a template to a custom web application with logins, payments and integrations.
Instead of quoting numbers that would be out of date by next month, this guide explains what actually drives the price, so you can read any quote and understand what you are paying for.
The factors that drive website cost
1. Custom design or a template
A template-based site reuses a design someone else made. It is faster and cheaper, but it looks like other sites using the same template and can be hard to change.
A custom design starts from your brand and your customers. It takes longer because someone has to design every page and state — but the result fits your business rather than the other way round.
2. Number of pages and page types
What matters is less the raw page count and more the number of different page types. Twenty service pages that share one layout cost far less than ten pages that are each unique.
3. Features and functionality
Each feature adds design, development and testing time. Common ones include:
- Contact and quote forms that send email or feed a CRM
- Booking or appointment systems
- User accounts and logins
- Online payments
- Multi-language content (for example English and Urdu)
- Blog or news section with an editor
4. E-commerce
An online store is a different category of project. Product catalogues, variants, stock, cart, checkout, payment and delivery integration all need to work together reliably. We explain the main choice in Shopify or a custom e-commerce website.
5. Content
Who writes the copy and provides the photos? If the agency writes content, sources images or shoots products, that is real work and should appear in the quote.
6. Integrations
Connecting your website to other systems — a CRM, ERP, inventory, courier service, payment gateway or WhatsApp — usually takes more time than people expect, because it depends on how well the other system's API is documented.
7. SEO and performance setup
A site built for search has proper metadata, structured data, a sitemap, fast loading and clean URLs. Some quotes include this; some leave it out and sell it later as "SEO services".
8. Support after launch
Hosting, security updates, backups and small changes cost money every month or year. Make sure you know what is included and what is not.
Why cheap quotes can become expensive
A low quote is not automatically a bad deal — but check what is missing. Common gaps are:
- No ownership of the code or hosting account
- No mobile optimisation or speed work
- No SEO basics, so the site is hard to find
- No documentation, so only the original developer can make changes
Rebuilding a site a year later because of any of these usually costs more than doing it properly the first time.
How to compare website quotes fairly
- Write a one-page brief: goals, pages, features, deadline.
- Send the same brief to every agency or freelancer.
- Ask each one for a breakdown by phase or feature, not one lump sum.
- Check that ownership, SEO setup and support are covered in all of them.
- Look at live sites each team has built.
How we price projects
At BeginTech we start with a short discovery call, then send a fixed quote and timeline for the agreed scope, so you know the cost before any work starts. Our web development and e-commerce pages explain what is included.
If you have a brief — or just an idea — send it over and we will tell you honestly what it would take.
